BB Cream Part 3

today my dearest friends, i will be yapping about SMASHBOX CAMERA READY BB CREAM!!!
(in case that photo didn't type you off!)

so i've tried this product a few times now, and it's always been a love-hate relationship. But i've decided to get the product and do it properly once and for all! I tried the light on and it started off as kinda yellowy and not so matchy...but then when i blended it all in and did the entire face it wasn't so bad after all. I tried the Light/Medium before, but that just had too much orange in it for me. Anyways, here's a bit of a background info: it's about 30degree Celsius out today, it's really humid where i work, and i'm of a combination/dehydrated skin. All i wore under this was my Laneige Sunblock High Lasting SPF50+/PA+++ and i applied it with CoverFX #160 Cream Foundation Brush. The coverage is definitely build-able, and it's not of a heavy texture. My face
looks dewy, not oily and it didn't melt off! What's great about this product is that it has SPF 35 and comes in 5 shades, so chances are, you will find one that works for your skin tone! What i did noticed was that when you apply with your fingers, the results is not that great...and a regular flat foundation brush seems to cake the product on making it feel a little heavy. The sponge should never be a option, as it soaks up the product!!! SO please find a really good brush/technique to obtain optimal results! OH! but i didn't use a sponge at the end to just blend in any creases, take off excess products be the nose/eyes/hair line.

would i give this a buy? YES! because practice makes perfect =]

BONUS! as promised, here's my review on the stila!

This BB cream is very sheer, with minimal coverage. I would only recommend this if you just want to even out the complexion or your skin due to redness and dullness. It will give you a bit of a satin finish and it's very light in texture which is ideal for the summer time! Only 1 shade though, claim to fit all, however i think it's only good for light to medium skin tones. This doesn't even have SPF in it! (BOO!) the only thing i like about this is the texture.
To buy or not to buy? I would say: Only if your skin needs enhancing and not coverage.

until next time...XOXO
